AValued K9 officer has passed away.
While assisting the (KY) Cumberland County Sheriff's Department in apprehending a suspect that had reportedly stolen a semi-truck in the early morning hours of August 2nd, K9 Officer Cain was seriously injured when he was stabbed multiple times. Cain was transported to the Veterinary Clinic and later transported to the University of Tennessee Veterinary Hospital in Knoxville where he passed away.
